It's been a sad year for anthropomorphic robots on Twitter. In October, NASA's Mars Phoenix probe tugged at the internet's heartstrings by Twittering through its gradual demise; the episode even inspired a Twitter epitaph contest at Wired Science.
Today Sandy, the virtual personal assistant created by Values of N (recently acquired by Twitter) is spending her last day sending out goodbyes to her users.
